Seton Hall 2011 Baseball Schedule

Seton Hall has released its 2011 college baseball schedule. The Pirates open their season February 18-20 with games against Penn State, Michigan State and Iowa at the Big East/Big Ten Challenge in St. Petersburg, FL.

The Pirates head to Chapel Hill, NC the following weekend for three games against North Carolina.

SHU plays its next seven games in Florida, beginning March 4-6 with a three-game series in Miami against Florida International. After a March 8 game in Tampa vs. Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, the Pirates head to Boca Raton for a three-game set with Florida Atlantic.

Manhattan visits South Orange, NJ on March 16 for Seton Hall’s home opener, and then the Pirates host Stony Brook, NJIT and Fordham in the March 18-20 Strike Out Cancer Tournament.

The Pirates visit Villanova March 25-27 in their Big East Conference-opening series. Other conference road series are at Rutgers, West Virginia, Notre Dame, and Cincinnati. Seton Hall hosts St. John’s, South Florida, Louisville, and Georgetown in Big East action.

The Big East Tournament is May 25-29 in Clearwater, FL.
