Six of Tuesday’s scheduled games involving CB360 top-50 teams were called off, but more than 30% of the top-50 games that were played saw the underdogs emerge victorious (8-17; 32%). The day’s other top-50 upsets – which could prove costly to some of the losers – included: Missouri State 4-3 over #22 Oklahoma State … South Alabama 8-1 at #36 Auburn … Old Dominion 7-4 at #37 East Carolina … and Wichita State 7-6 vs. #47 Kansas State (11 inn.).
Several of Tuesday’s games featured current top-50 teams playing teams that were ranked in the CB360 top-50 earlier this season (including the upsets in Miami-FAU, Jacksonville-Florida and Wichita-K-St.).
