Georgia has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Bulldogs will start the new season by play eight straight and 20 of its first 21 games at home.

A three game series vs. Presbyterian opens the 2012 campaign February 17-19. That series is followed by a single game vs. Georgia State, three games vs. Winthrop and a game vs. Savannah State on Feb. 28.

Georgia hits the road for the first time when it visits Western Carolina in Cullowhee, GA on Feb. 29.

A second home stand begins when Western Illinois visits Athens for three games March 2-4. A single game vs. Kennesaw State on March 6 is followed by a big three game series vs. UCLA March 9-11.

The Bulldogs open SEC play when they host Tennessee March 16-18. Other SEC home series are against Kentucky, Ole Miss, Auburn, and defending national champion South Carolina.

Conference road series are at Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, and Alabama.

Georgia plays a home and home series with Clemson. The Bulldogs also play intrastate rival Georgia Tech three times. The first two meetings will be home and home meetings, while the third will be at Turner Field in Atlanta on May 9.
