The schedule has been set for the 2012 Houston College Classic. Six teams from three different conferences will participate in the event, which takes place March 2-4 at Minute Maid Park-the home of the Houston Astros.

Arkansas and Tennessee from the SEC, Houston and Rice from Conference USA and Texas and Texas Tech of the Big 12 will all play three games in three days. Arkansas, Rice and Texas all qualified for the 2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament, with the Longhorns advancing to the College World Series.
