31 Home Games Set For Wolfpack…

North Carolina State has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Wolfpack opens the season on February 17 with a home game against Marshall. They play a double header the next day against Youngstown State and Wright State and then finish their opening weekend on Sunday the 19th vs. St. Joseph’s. A five game season-opening homestand concludes Feb. 21 against UNC Wilmington.

The Wolfpack hits the road for the season’s second weekend with three games in Myrtle Beach, SC. Games Feb. 24-26 are against George Mason, West Virginia and host Coastal Carolina.

NC State heads to Wilmington, NC March 2-5 for games against Monmouth, UNC Asheville and UNC Wilmington (2).

ACC play opens at home March 9-11 against Georgia Tech. Other conference home series are against Wake Forest, Virginia, Boston College, and Duke. Conference road series are at North Carolina, Maryland, Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Florida State. NC State does not play ACC foe Miami in 2012.

The Wolfpack also hosts DI Independent Cal State Bakersfield in a three game series May 4-6.
