Best Of Three Series Start Friday…

The Cape Cod Baseball League’s second season gets underway Friday night with four games on tap that begin best-of-three series.

The playoffs open with a pair of 3 p.m. games as Yarmouth-Dennis hosts Harwich and Orleans travels to Brewster. Defending champion Bourne gets going at 7 p.m., hosting Wareham, while Cotuit is at Falmouth for another 7 p.m. start.

Each series shifts locales on Saturday, with Falmouth at Cotuit starting at 3 and the remainder of the games played at night. Any Game 3’s that are necessary will be played on Sunday.

Second round games will all begin on the same day.
