31 Home Games Slated For Ducks…

Oregon has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Ducks open their season February 17-20 when they play four games in Honolulu against Hawaii.

There is not much down time after a return to the main land. Oregon jumps five time zones when it heads to Nashville, Tenn. for a Feb. 23 game against Belmont. That game is followed by a Feb. 24-26 series in the same city against Vanderbilt.

The Ducks play their home opener against Portland on Feb. 28. Long Beach State then comes to Eugene for three games March 2-4.

Oregon then participates in the Nike College Showcase 2012. It hosts Illinois on March 9, West Virginia and Oklahoma on March 10 and Connecticut on March 11. Those three teams as well as Oregon State will square-off in games that weekend in both Eugene and on Oregon State’s home field in Corvallis.

The Ducks head to San Marcos, TX March 27 & 28 for a pair of games against Texas State . They travel to Spokane to face Gonzaga May 1 & 2 and host two games with San Francisco April 9 & 10. A three game home series vs. Seattle is set for May 18-20.

Oregon begins Pac-12 play March 16-18 with a trip to Washington. Other conference road series are at UCLA, Stanford, Arizona, and Oregon State. Conference home series are against Utah, Arizona State, Washington State, Cal, and USC.
