30 Home Games Set For Trojans…

USC has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Trojans open their season Feb. 17-19 when they host a three game series with Jacksonville.

After a Feb. 21 game at Long Beach State, USC returns home to Dedeaux Field for a Feb. 14-26 three game set vs. Akron.

The Trojans head to Pepperdine for a Feb. 28 mid week game and then ventures across the country for a March 2-4 three game series at North Carolina. They host Cal State Fullerton on March 6 and then host DI Independent Cal State Bakersfield for three games March 9-11. The Trojans also visit Bakersfield for a single game on April 17.

A March 13 game vs. arch rival UCLA takes place at Dodger Stadium in the Dodgertown Classic.

Other non-conference opponents include UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Riverside.

Pac-12 Conference play begins March 16-18 with a three game home series against new conference member Utah. Other conference home series are against Cal, Oregon State, Washington, and Arizona. Conference road series are at Stanford, Washington State, Arizona State, Oregon, and UCLA.

27 Home Games Set For Cougars…

Washington State has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Cougars open their season Feb. 17-19 when they visit Starkville, Miss. for three games against Mississippi State.

An eight-game home stand begins the next weekend with four games against Nebraska-Omaha. The Mavericks are moving to the DI ranks in 2012. WSU also hosts a four game series with Northern Colorado March 2-4 to conclude the home stand.

The Cougars head to Las Vegas for a three game set against UNLV March 9-11 and then head to southern California for a March 11 game at UC Irvine and a March 13 game at Cal State Fullerton.

23 Home Games, Early Events Set For Beavers…

Oregon State has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Beavers begin the season Feb. 17-19 with a four game series at UC Santa Barbara.  They head back to southern California the next weekend for the San Diego/San Diego State Tournament, with games against Pacific, San Diego, San Diego State, and Kansas State.

The Beavers are in Surprise, Ariz. March 1-4 for the Coca Cola Classic. Their four opponents for the event are still TBD.

OSU plays comes home to Corvallis for the season’s fourth weekend when they co-host the Nike College Showcase 2012. The March 9-11 event includes games against West Virginia, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Connecticut.  The Beavers will host those four teams on its home field. Oregon will play those teams in its home stadium as well.

Oregon State opens Pac-12 play March 16-18 when it travels to Cal. Other conference road series are at Arizona State, USC, Utah, and Washington State. Conference home series are against Arizona, Washington, UCLA, Stanford, and Oregon.

The Beavers play three mid week games vs. Portland, with two of those contests in Corvallis. They host a three game series with Arkansas-Pine Bluff, travel to Nevada for two games and go to Oregon for a pair of mid week games at different points during the season.

30 Home Games Set In Challenging Schedule…

Stanford has unveiled its 2012 college baseball schedule. For the second straight year the Cardinal will have one of the toughest opening months of any team in the nation. The 2012 slate opens February 17-19 with a three game home series against Vanderbilt.

After a Feb. 21 game at Pacific, Stanford welcomes Texas to Sunken Diamond for a Feb. 24-26 three game set. The Longhorns and Commodores both advanced to the College World Series in 2011.

The Cardinal heads to Fresno State for three games March 2-4 and then returns home to host three games with Rice March 9-11. Stanford, Rice and Fresno State were all at the 2008 College World Series, with FSU claiming that year’s national championship.

Stanford opens Pac-12 play March 24-26 when it hosts USC. Other conference home series are against Oregon, Arizona State, Washington State, and arch rival Cal. Conference road series are at Arizona, Washington, Oregon State, Utah, and UCLA.

Mid-week games are planned against UC Davis, St. Mary’s, San Francisco, BYU, San Jose State, and Santa Clara.

31 Home Games Slated For Ducks…

Oregon has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Ducks open their season February 17-20 when they play four games in Honolulu against Hawaii.

There is not much down time after a return to the main land. Oregon jumps five time zones when it heads to Nashville, Tenn. for a Feb. 23 game against Belmont. That game is followed by a Feb. 24-26 series in the same city against Vanderbilt.

The Ducks play their home opener against Portland on Feb. 28. Long Beach State then comes to Eugene for three games March 2-4.

Oregon then participates in the Nike College Showcase 2012. It hosts Illinois on March 9, West Virginia and Oklahoma on March 10 and Connecticut on March 11. Those three teams as well as Oregon State will square-off in games that weekend in both Eugene and on Oregon State’s home field in Corvallis.

The Ducks head to San Marcos, TX March 27 & 28 for a pair of games against Texas State . They travel to Spokane to face Gonzaga May 1 & 2 and host two games with San Francisco April 9 & 10. A three game home series vs. Seattle is set for May 18-20.

Washington has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Huskies open their season February 17-19 with three games at San Diego State. They go back to southern California the second weekend of the season for three games at UC Irvine. That series is followed by a single game at Cal State Northridge on Feb. 27.

Yet another non-conference trip to California is slated for March 9-11 when UW travels to San Louis Obispo for a three game series with Cal Poly.

Washington plays its home opener on Feb. 21 against cross town rival Seattle. It’s one of three meetings between the two schools in 2012. The Huskies will host the first two match-ups.

Good Non-Conference Games Set For Golden Bears…

Cal has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Golden Bears open their season with a three game series against Pacific. Cal will host the first and third games of the series, with game two on Pacific’s home field in Stockton, CA. Cal head coach Dave Esquer and Pacific head coach Ed Sprague played together on Stanford’s 1987 national championship team.

The Golden Bears go to Long Beach State for three games Feb. 24-26. After a trip to the 2011 College World Series, they head back to the Cornhusker state March 9-12 for a four game series against Nebraska. Cal also heads to Texas March 30-April 1 for a four game series against the Longhorns.

Cal opens Pac-12 play March 16-18 when it hosts Oregon State. Other conference home series are against Washington, Utah, Arizona, and UCLA. Conference road series are at Arizona State, USC, Oregon, and Washington State. WSU will also visit Cal for a May 14 midweek game.

Creighton, San Francisco and Stanford are among the other non-conference home games Cal has set for 2012. The Bears will travel to San Francisco, Fresno State and twice to Santa Clara in non-league action. Cal played on Santa Clara’s home field when it hosted a 2011 Super Regional.

Cal still has an open weekend March 2-4 that it looks to fill with a TBD opponent.
