Atlantic 10 Conference baseball coaches have picked Charlotte to repeat as conference champion in 2011. Xavier, which won the 2009 A-10 Tournament, is tabbed to finish second in the 13-team league.

The 49ers won the regular season title last year. A win this year would give them their fourth title in the last five seasons. They won back-to-back championships in 2007 and 2008.

Charlotte has collected 96 conference wins over the last five seasons. Six position playing starters and 11 pitchers return for head coach Loren Hibbs from last year’s 39-win team.

Dayton is picked to finish third, while last year’s A-10 Tournament champion, St. Louis, is picked fourth.
