28 Home Games Slated For Gaels…

St. Mary’s is the final school to release its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Gaels open their season Feb. 17-19 with a three game home series against Southern Utah.

After a Feb. 20 game at Sacramento State, St. Mary’s opens West Coast Conference play Feb. 23-25 with a three game series against new WCC member BYU. Other conference home series are against Pepperdine, Gonzaga and defending conference champion San Francisco. WCC road series are at Loyola Marymount, San Diego, Santa Clara, and Portland.

The Gaels will play in the Coca Cola Classic in Surprise, Ariz. March 1-4. Opponents at the event are Oregon State, Arizona State, St. Louis, and Northern Illinois.

St. Mary’s plays home and home games with the likes of Stanford, UC Davis, Nevada, Sacramento State, and San Jose State. Non-conference three game series are also slated vs. San Diego State and Utah Valley, a four game home series vs.  Cal State Northridge, and play a four game series at Hawaii April 13-15.
