Ogle is the CB360 Primetime Player of the Week and Cribb the Primetime Pitcher, with 14 other players joining them on the week-9 Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll. (Note that head shots and action photos are included below for all 16 players; full player info. still to be added).
OGLE earned the Primtime Player honors despite the fact that his team went only 2-2 during the week – due to the fact that the veteran leader had such a strong overall week against top opposition (both losses were by one run and on neutral fields, with one coming in extra-innings). The Sooners turned in a midweek win over #17 TCU (13-6) before the Bedlam rivalry series vs. #21 Oklahoma State (7-8 in Tulsa; 7-5 in Oklahoma City and 10-11 in an 11-inn. game, also in OKC). During that four-game stretch, Ogle torched the opposing pitchers by batting 11-for-17 (.647) with 21 total bases (3 home runs, plus a double; 1.235 slugging pct.). He factored into 16 of the his team’s runs during the week (11 RBI, 8 R, 3 HR), with 13 total tiles on-base (BB, HBP) for a .650 on-base pct. and a gaudy 1.885 OPS (on-base plus slugging).
In all four of the games, Ogle posted multiple RBI and had 2-plus hits in all but one of the pressure-packed matchups. He matched his career high with 4-hit games in the opener and finale of the Bedlam series, while scoring three runs in each game versus the Cowboys. His series stat line vs. Oklahoma State included batting 10-for-14 (.714) with 9 RBI and a pair of home runs. (both came in game-2, for the first multiple-HR game of Ogle’s career).

Ogle nearly carried the Sooners to a win in the series-deciding third game vs. Oklahoma State, batting 4-for-4 with a walk, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. His clutch 2-run single capped a 2-out rally in the 9th, as OU pushed across three runs to ultimately force extra-innings.
In addition to ranking fifth among Big 12 players with a .367 overall batting avg., Ogle ranks third on the Big 12 home run chart (7) and is second on the Sooners with 31 RBI. He ended the Bedlam series having hit safely in 11 of the past 12 games.
CRIBB made the most of his first collegiate start, piecing together eight-plus scoreless innings to lead a 2-0 win over #4 South Carolina – the program’s first shutout of the in-state rival Gamecocks in 40 years. The rookie scattered eight hits and three walks while pitching into the 9th inning. The 5-foot-9/160-pound lefty had yet to pitch more than 2.2 innings this season but kept the defending champs in check over the course of his 123-pitch outing.
Logan Cribb's 8-plus scoreless innings led the Citadel to its first shutout of in-state rival South Carolina in 40 years.
Later in the week, Cribb also pitched in the 9-7, 10-inning win over Southern Conference foe Furman – tossing two key late-game innings, with one earned run allowed.
Primetime Performer Award Criteria (not based solely on raw stats, but rather …)
• Must have been playing for or against a CB360 top-50 team (in the Composite National Rankings) or performed a high level in games that could be key to a team’s conference/NCAA postseason qualification; made significant contribution to team’s postseason positioning (single-game wins, “quality” wins, series wins, road wins, etc.).
• Involved in clutch performances, such as late game-winning hits, noteworthy comebacks, game-changing plays, team leadership, key defensive efforts, etc.
• Performed at a top level against a team rated highly nationally (or within its conference), with bonus consideration given for key performances away from home field and vs. traditional rivals.
• Overcame adversity or extreme circumstances (for the team and/or individual).
• Any accomplishment that is rare, historic, record-setting, etc., on a national level.
