PINE BLUFF, Ark.- At the request of Ms. Kim Edwards (mother of Kevin Edwards) a scholarship fund has been set up in memory of University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff student-athlete and Golden Lions baseball player Kevin Edwards.

All donations should be made payable to:  UAPB Foundation Fund with a notation on the memo line that reads Kevin Edwards Memorial Fund.  Donations should be mailed to UAPB Foundation Fund, 1200 N. University Drive, Mail Slot 4981, Pine Bluff, AR 71601.

Edwards passed away on November 29 during Thanksgiving weekend in Calumet Park, Illinois (his home state) in a car accident.  He was a sophomore pitcher on the UAPB baseball team.  Edwards pitched in 18 games with five starts for the Golden Lions last season as a true freshman.
