Southern Mississippi has unveiled its 2011 college baseball schedule. USM open the season with a five game homestand, which starts with a three game series against Eastern Illinois.
The Golden Eagles face seven teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament, including Connecticut and the College of Charleston at the College of Charleston Tournament. They also face LSU, Ole Miss, Louisiana-Lafayette, Rice, and 2010 Super Regional qualifier Alabama. They travel to Tuscaloosa to play Alabama on March 2 and then host the Tide April 26.

Southern Miss. opens Conference USA play March 25-27 when it hosts Tulane. Other C-USA home series are against Marshall, UAB and Rice. Their road C-USA series are at Central Florida, Memphis, East Carolina, and Houston.
The Conference USA Tournament is May 25-28 at Trustmark Park in Pearl, MS.
