Florida 2011 Baseball Schedule

The Florida Gators are the latest SEC school to release their 2011 college baseball schedule. Fresh-off a trip to the 2010 College World Series, Florida will play 14 of its first 17 games at home to start the upcoming season.

Florida hosts intrastate rival South Florida February 18-20 to open the 2011 campaign and then goes to Florida Atlantic for a single game on Feb. 22. The Gators host three games with Boston College the following weekend and then heads to Tampa, FL to face Florida State.

A big three game series vs. Miami follows March 4-6 in Gainesville. The Gators hosted and beat the Hurricanes in Super Regional action to advance to Omaha.

After hosting Georgia Southern on March 8, UF goes to Tampa to play USF the next day. Those games are followed by a three game home series with Rhode Island and then a home game with Florida State.

Florida opens SEC play March 18-20 at LSU. Other SEC road trips are at Mississippi State, Georgia, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt. Their SEC home opener is against defending national champion South Carolina March 25-27. The Gators also host Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, and Kentucky in conference action.

The SEC Tournament is May 25-29 in Hoover, AL.
