Kentucky Catapults To Top 10…
College Baseball 360 caught some flack from a fan or two over the weekend for our coverage of Kentucky’s sweep of two-time national champion South Carolina with our Twitter feed @CB360updates. Some thought we gave the Wildcats too much Twitter play, but as we countered, the sweep was very significant – as college baseball coaches have confirmed.
The Wildcats have made the biggest leap in the polls this season, jumping from 20th last week to No. 6 in this week’s coaches’ tally. Meanwhile, South Carolina falls from No. 3 to No. 8, Arkansas is up four spots to No. 3 with Florida State and North Carolina rounding out the top five.
