The Florida Gulf Coast pitcher was named the Cape Cod League’s Pitching MVP over the summer.  As a member of the Yarmouth Dennis Red Sox Sale led the Cape with 57 strikeouts, while his 1.47 ERA was the third lowest among Cape pitchers.   Sale was also 7-4 with a team high 104 strikeouts in just 89 1/3 innings at FGCU last season.  In his podcast interview with Sean Stires Sale talks about his experience last summer as well as the chance to play in the NCAA Tournament for the first time.  (Florida Gulf Coast has been transitioning to Division I status, and baseball is eligible for the post season for the first time this year.)
