The sweeps completed on Sunday were by Oregon State and Washington State, plus: 2–Vanderbilt (at Auburn), 8–UCLA (vs. Washington), 10–Cal State Fullerton (at Oral Roberts), 11–Georgia Tech (vs. Boston College), 20–Oklahoma (vs. Northestern LA State), 26–Rice (vs. Harvard), 30–Oklahoma State (vs. Iona; 4-gm series), 34–Louisiana-Lafayette (vs. La.-Monroe), 39–Texas A&M (vs. Georgia), 41–Virginia Tech (at Duke) and 43–Southeastern Louisiana (vs. Ark.-Pine Bluff).
