Here’s a quick look at the most recent update (prior to April 26-28 series) to the CB360 Composite National Rankings (CNR), again featuring  14 total elements in the current formula – the usual five rankings/polls (coaches, writers, Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, & Perfect Game) along with five mathematical-based listings: official NCAA RPI, WarrenNolan.com RPI and Nolan Power Rankings, BoydsWorld.com Pseudo RPI and Iterative Strength Ratings, plus the Massey Power Ratings, along with NCAA field-of-64 projections from BA, PG & SEbaseball.com.  front-page photo courtesy of Pittsburgh

There are seven newcomers/returners in the CNR top-50: (41) Pittsburgh, (42) New Mexico, (44) Troy, (46) Ohio State, (48) North Florida, (49) Oklahoma State and (50) South Florida …  replacing Coastal Carolina, William & Mary, Houston, Illinois, Texas A&M, Delaware and Florida Gulf Coast.
