Alabama 2011 Baseball Schedule

Alabama is the latest SEC school to release its 2011 college baseball schedule. The Crimson Tide opens the season February 18-20 with a three-game home series against Alcorn State. A single game against Alabama State follows on Feb. 22.

The Tide heads to Mobile, AL Feb. 25-27 for the South Alabama Tournament. They face Southeastern Louisiana, South Alabama and Central Florida.

Alabama then plays eight of its next nine games at home, starting with a March 2 game against Southern Mississippi and ending with a three-game series vs. Eastern Illinois. ‘Bama makes a return visit to Hattiesburg, MS to face USM on April 26

A pair of March mid-week games are set in minor league parks against SEC rivals. Alabama plays Georgia on March 9 in Gwinnett, GA at Coolray Field and then faces in-state rival Auburn on March 15 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, AL.

Alabama opens SEC play March 18-20 when it travels to Mississippi. Other conference road series are at Vanderbilt, Florida, Mississippi State, and Auburn. Home SEC series are against Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, and defending national champion South Carolina.
