29 Home Games On Tap For Sun Devils…

The Arizona State baseball team has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Sun Devils open the new campaign with seven of their first 11 games at home, with all 11 of those games in the state of Arizona.

ASU welcomes Western Michigan to Packard Stadium for a season-opening three game series February 17-19. UC-Riverside visits for three games the following weekend. The Sun Devils then play four games at the Coca Cola Classic in Suprise, Ariz. March 1-4. Opponents are St. Louis, Winthrop, Northwestern, and St. Mary’s.

After a March 6 home game vs. Texas Tech Arizona State hits the road for three games at Long Beach State March 9-11.

The Sun Devils open Pac-12 play when they visit UCLA March 16-18. Other conference road series are at Oregon, Stanford, Washington State, and Arizona. They will also play two “non-conference” games vs. Arizona in Tempe. ASU’s home conference series are against Cal, Oregon State, USC, Washington, and new Pac-12 member Utah.

Other noteworthy non-conference games include two home games vs. Cal State Fullerton March 27-28, two games at New Mexico April 9-10 and three games at Gonzaga May 11-13.
