Florida Tops Another Preseason Ranking…

Florida is the No. 1 team in Baseball America‘s 2012 preseason college baseball poll. The Gators, last year’s national runner-up, also topped Collegiate Baseball Newspaper‘s preseason poll.

While two-time defending national champion South Carolina is No. 2 the the CBN rankings, Stanford is second in the BA poll with the Gamecocks ranked third.

Arkansas and Arizona come in fourth and fifth, respectively, with Rice, Texas A&M, LSU, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt rounding out the top 10.

Including top ranked Florida, the SEC boasts seven teams in the BA preseason top 25. The ACC and Pac-12 each have five teams in the rankings.
