Rick Vanderhook Era To Open In Florida…
Cal State Fullerton has announced its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Titans open their season February 17-19 at Florida. The Gators are coming off a runner-up finish at this year’s College World Series.
TCU, which advanced to Omaha in 2010, visits Fullerton for a three game series February 24-26. Fullerton also travels to College Station, TX for three games against Texas A&M March 9-11. The Aggies made it to the CWS in 2011 as well.
Some of the Titans’ other non-conference action under new head coach Rick Vanderhook includes a home three game series vs. Oral Roberts, two games at Arizona State and a pair of home and home series with both USC and UCLA.
Fullerton plays Big West Conference home series against Cal State Northridge, UC Davis, Cal Poly,and UC Riverside. It goes on the road for conference games against UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, and Long Beach State.
