After A Monster 2010, Hoilman Back For More…

The East Tennessee State senior took being a power hitting first baseman to another level as a junior in 2010. Paul Hoilman batted .421 with 25 HR, 84 RBIs and a 1.386 to finish among the nation’s Division One leaders in each of those categories. He won the inaugural TD Ameritrade Home Run Derby at Rosenblatt Stadium and also spent the summer playing against the other top players in the country in the Cape Cod League.

Despite Hoilman’s monster numbers last year, he wasn’t drafted until the 49th round last year by the Tampa Bay Rays. In this exclusive interview with College Baseball 360 editor, Sean Stires, Hoilman discusses his 2010 season, his decision to return to ETSU for his senior year, Cape Cod, the new college baseball bats, and more.
