32 Home Contests Set For Pirates…
East Carolina has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Pirates open the season at home with a three game series against Wisconsin-Milwaukee February 17-19. It’s the first ever meeting between the two schools. ECU will also play Troy and Oral Roberts for the first time in 2012.
The Pirates host the Keith LeClair Classic February 24-26. Purdue, Western Carolina and Maryland will be their opponents.
ECU travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala for the Alabama Tournament March 9-11. In addition to playing the host Crimson Tide, the Pirates also face Oral Roberts and Louisville.
Penn State visits Greenville for a a three game series March 16-18. Other non-conference opponents include North Carolina, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, VCU, Elon, High Point, Stony Brook, UNC Wilmington, William & Mary, and VMI.
The Pirates open Conference USA play when they travel to Central Florida March 23-25. Other conference road series are at Memphis, Rice and Southern Mississippi. ECU hosts Houston, Alabama-Birmingham, Tulane, and Marshall in conference action.
