GREENSBORO, N.C. – Eight Atlantic Coast Conference Saturday baseball games are again scheduled for broadcast by the Regional Sports Network (RSN) during the 2010 season.
The slate of televised games opens on March 20 with a matchup between 2009 NCAA tournament teams as Boston College visits Virginia. The Cavaliers will also be the hosts for a May 15 contest with North Carolina, a game that will feature the ACC’s two College World Series participants from last season.
Other highlights include Clemson at Georgia Tech (April 17), a rivalry game between Miami and Florida State (April 24) and Florida State at Clemson (May 22). Each of those games will match NCAA teams from 2009.
“The baseball programs in the ACC are among the nation’s best and we are excited to showcase them throughout our conference footprint,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “We appreciate the support of the league’s regional television networks and look forward to the 2010 season.”
All eight Saturday broadcasts are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
The Regional Sports Network, consisting of Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, FOX Sports Net South, FOX Sports Florida, and the New England Sports Network, will also broadcast all 13 games of the 2010 ACC Baseball Championship, set for May 26-30 at Greensboro’s New Bridge Bank Park.
