34 Home Games Set For Bulldogs…

Fresno State has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Bulldogs open their season Feb. 17-19 when they host a four game series with Butler.

After a Feb. 22 game at Cal State Bakersfield, FSU heads to Malibu for three games at Pepperdine Feb. 24-26.

Stanford visits Fresno for three games March 2-4 and then San Francisco comes to town for a March 8-11 four game set. Both the Cardinal and Dons qualified for the 2011 NCAA Tournament.

Cal State Bakersfield travels to Fresno for a March 16-18 three game series. The Bulldogs then play another 2011 NCAA team, Kent State, March 20 & 21. After three home games against UC Riverside, 2011 College World Series team Cal visits for a mid week game on March 27.

Western Athletic Conference play begins March 30-April 1 when FSU hosts four games vs. New Mexico. Other conference home series are against Sacramento State and Louisiana Tech. Conference road series are at Hawaii, San Jose State and New Mexico State.

The Bulldogs play 25 of their first 31 games at home, with their first 32 games taking place in the state of California. The 2012 season will be Fresno State’s last in the WAC. The school is moving to the Mountain West Conference for the 2012-2013 academic season.
