Six Games Slated vs. 2011 CWS Teams…

Kansas State has released its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Wildcats open their season February 18-20 with a three game series at Cal State Bakersfield.

After two days off, KSU stays in California for four games at the Feb. 23-26 San Diego State Tournament. The Wildcats play the host Aztecs twice and also faces San Diego and Oregon State.

K-State faces another California school when it hosts a three game series vs. Pacific March 2-4. That series is followed by a March 6 game at former Big 12 rival Nebraska. The Cornhuskers begin their first season in the Big Ten in 2012. Nebraska makes the return trip to Manhattan on April 3. The Wildcats play another Big Ten team when they travel to Minnesota for two games on March 13 & 14.

Big 12 Conference play begins March 16-18 when the Wildcats head to College Station, TX for a three game series vs. Texas A&M. Other conference road series are at Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas Tech. K-State hosts Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Kansas in conference action.

The Wildcats also play a non-conference midweek game at Kansas as well as a pair of home and home games against Wichita State.
