Maryland has announced its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Terps open the new season with their first six games over the first two weekends on the road.
The first three games are February 17-19 at UCLA. Maryland heads to Greenville, NC for action at the Keith LeClair Classic, hosted by East Carolina, the following weekend. Games are against Western Carolina, Purdue and the host Pirates.
Maryland hosts its home opener on March 2 against Manhattan. It’s the first of a four game series against the Jaspers. A home game vs. Delaware and a game at nearby Navy in Annapolis follows on March 6 and 7, respectively.
The Terps open ACC play when they travel to Wake Forest for three games March 9-11. Other conference road series are at Miami, Boston College, Virginia Tech, and Florida State.
Maryland hosts North Carolina, North Carolina State, Duke, Clemson, and Virginia in ACC action. The series with Virginia concludes the regular season.
