Two-Sport Star Helped Trojans Win Titles…

Anthony Munoz is probably best known as a Pro Football Hall of Fame offensive tackle in his time with the Cincinnati Bengals. However, before Munoz went to battle in the NFL trenches with the likes of Lawrence Taylor and Fred Dean he was a two sport athlete at USC. In fact, he helped College Football Hall of Fame Coach John Robinson and College Baseball Hall of Fame coach Rod Dedeaux each win national championships in 1978.

Munoz was on the Dan Patrick Radio Show on Wednesday (9/15) and reminisced about his time as a pitcher with the Trojans. He also talked a little about Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio, who also won football and baseball titles for the Trojans. Press the play button below to listen to that conversation.
