North Carolina State baseball and football standout Russell Wilson is the ACC Player of the Week for his efforts on the football field.

Wilson completed 26 of 40 passes against Cincinnati for 333 yards and three touchdowns, with 17 of his completions resulting in first downs. He completed passes to 11 different receivers and did not throw an interception.

Wilson’s performance marked the sixth time in his career that he has thrown for 300 yards or more, and the ninth time he has had three or more touchdown passes.

He hit .306 with three home runs on the baseball field in 2010. After being taken in the 4th round with the 140th overall pick in the June MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies, he signed a professional contract. Wilson batted .230 in 122 at-bats over the summer for the Tri-City Dust Devils in the Class A Northwest League.
