Penn State 2010 Baseball Schedule

Penn State University has released its 2010 baseball schedule.  According to Penn State’s official athletic web site the Nittany Lions will start their season with two games in Farmville, VA.  PSU will open February 20 with a game vs. Coppin State and then play Longwood the following day.

The following weeknd Penn State travels to Florida for the second annual Big Ten/Big East Challenge with games against Cincinnati, Seton Hall and Notre Dame.  They will play another Big East team, Pittsburgh, in the Steel City on March 23rd after trips to Texas and South Carolina.

The PSU home opener is March 26th when the Nittany Lions play the first game of a five game series vs. Hofstra.  They will also play their Big Ten Conference opener at home on April 2nd vs. Illinois.
