Sunday’s college baseball action saw three underdogs – UNLV (5-1 at #8 Stanord), UNC Wilmington (3-2 vs. #38 VCU), and Seton Hall (9-3 at #47 Pepperdine) – complete series sweeps vs. top-50 teams from the CB360 Composite National Rankings, a feat that Illinois had fashioned a day earlier by finishing a stretch of three wins at CB360 #48 Baylor. Two teams won on Sunday to take their weekend series in upset fashion – most notably, (44) Central Arkansas won at previously-unbeaten Mississippi State for the second straight day (7-3). Big Ten favorite Indiana (cb360 #39) had won Friday at (30) Florida and beat the Gators again on Sunday, 7-4.
