Tough Slate Again Awaits Horned Frogs…

TCU has unveiled its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Horned Frogs open their season with a marquee series Feb. 17-19 when they host a three game series with Mississippi.

After a Feb. 21 game at Baylor, TCU goes on the road for another stiff test when it visits Cal State Fullerton for a Feb. 24-26 three game set.

An eight-game home stand begins on Feb. 28 with a game vs. Texas State. Oklahoma State visits for three games March 2-4, Baylor comes to Ft. Worth on March 6 and then Texas Tech completes the home stand with three games March 9-11.

Mountain West Conference play begins March 16-18 at UNLV. Other conference road games are at New Mexico, San Diego State, and Air Force. The Horned Frogs host those same teams in conference action as well.

UNC Wilmington and Manhattan visit Lupton Stadium for three game series during the season as well. Dallas Baptist, Louisiana-Monroe, Texas A&M, and UT Arlington are among TCU’s other mid week games in 2012. They will also play single home and home games vs. Oklahoma.

2012 will be TCU’s last in the Mountain West Conference. The Horned Frogs are set to join the Big 12 in 2013.
