Tennessee 2012 Baseball Schedule

Tennessee is the first major program to officially announce its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Volunteers will begin the Dave Serrano era on February 17 when they start a three game series vs. Northern Illinois. Their eight game season opening homestand continues with one game against Western Kentucky, three games vs. Seton Hall and a game with Middle Tennessee State.

The Vols will open the month of March with three games in Houston, TX at the Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park. Opponents for the event are yet to be determined.

Tennessee opens SEC play when it visits Georgia March 16-18. Other conference road series are at defending national champion South Carolina, Mississippi State, Auburn, and Ole Miss.

The Volunteers host Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas in conference play in 2012.
