Texas State 2011 Baseball Schedule

Texas State’s 2011 college baseball schedule is up and ready to go. The Bobcats open their season by hosting the Texas State Tournament February 18-20 on their home field in San Marcos, TX. They will play Nebraska, Missouri State and Air Force in that order.

A home game with Rice on Feb. 23 and then a three game home series with Akron follows. Texas State plays its first road game in Waco, TX vs. Baylor on March 1. They follow that with a three game series at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and then Baylor heads to San Marcos for a single game on March 8.

The Bobcats also have three game home series against Houston and Sam Houston State to give them 14 of their first 19 games of the season at home.

Other notable non-conference road games at at Texas (2), TCU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Rice.

Texas State plays Southland Conference home series against Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Southeastern Louisiana, McNeese State, and Nicholls State. It goes on the road for conference series vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Lamar, Central Arkansas, Northwestern State, and Texas-Arlington.
