Bruins Have 25 Games vs. 2012 NCAA Teams…

UCLA has unveiled its 2012 college baseball schedule. The Bruins play 11 of their first 12 games at home, including their season opening series against Maryland February 17-19.

After a Feb. 21 game at Cal State Northridge, UCLA hosts three games vs. Baylor Feb. 24-26. They play another big non-conference series March 9-11 at Georgia.

UCLA plays a non-conference game vs. cross town rival USC on March 13 at Dodger Stadium in the Dodgertown Classic.

The Bruins open their inaugural Pac-12 Conference season when they host Arizona State March 16-18. Other home conference series are against Washington State, Oregon, Stanford, and USC. They go on the road in conference action to play new Pac-12 member Utah as well as Arizona, Oregon State, Washington, and 2011 CWS participant Cal.

Other non-conference foes include Cal State Fullerton, Sacramento State, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, and a May 5 & 6 three game series at home vs. Purdue.

The Bruins’ 2012 campaign will feature 25 games against teams that advanced to the 2011 NCAA Tournament. The schedule includes 32 home games, 23 road games and one neutral site contest.
