USA Today/ESPN College Baseball Coaches’ Poll – April 16

Florida Back To No. 1…

After a week out of the top spot, the Florida Gators have gone back to No. 1 in this week’s USA Today/ESPN College Baseball Coaches’ Poll. Florida State moved past the Gators to No. 1 last week, but after Florida beat the Seminoles in a head to head match-up and then took two of three at Tennessee, Florida was able to climbed back ahead of their intrastate rival.

Kentucky was number two last week, but was pounded 12-0 by rival Louisville in a midweek game before taking two of three at Arkansas. The Wildcats are third in this week’s poll behind FSU and one spot ahead of LSU, which has won 13 of its last 14 games. Texas A&M remains steady at No. 5.
