Week–4 College Baseball Top–50

March 6, 2015

Here’s a quick look at CB360’s exclusive Composite National Rankings (Top–50, and expanded projected field of 64) – updated to include games through March 1 and encompassing the current national polls. The 65 teams listed below will be tracked by CB360 throughout the weekend (Weekend Scoreboard to be posted later today).

Note that, prior to this week, the national Baseball Coaches Poll had not been updated since the preseason – thus accounting for extensive movement within the top–50 compared to the previous week.

The CNR Top-50 – which made its debut on CB360 in 2009 – can serve as a snapshot for teams that project for making the NCAAs (as at-large entrants, if they don’t win their conference automatic bids). In the past, the weekly top-50 also has included a listing of other projected NCAA qualifiers, for conferences that don’t feature any teams in the top-50 … and those teams also are included at the bottom of this page, based on a composite of various preseason conference predictions.

See previous CNR releases (linked above) for in-depth criteria, poll history, etc.
