A New Look Ready For A New Season…

Thanksgiving is gone and the holiday season is now officially upon us. Christmas came a little early for us this year at Collegebaseball360.com. We have a new look and, hopefully, a more user friendly format for college baseball fans to enjoy.

We haven’t changed things too drastically, but if you are like many college baseball fans who have visited our site in the past you will notice the biggest changes right away.

We now have more options in the navigation bar at the top of the web site. Those options also include several drop down menus that will help us streamline information for you.

For instance, “POLLS” is broken down into four sub-categories that you will be able to access individually during the season: Coaches’ Polls, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Polls, NCBWA Polls, and our College Baseball 360 Composite Top 50 Rankings.

You will also find sub-categories under NEWS, PODCASTS, COLUMNS and AWARDS. We are adding an archive page for our news items to help find older news items more easily. Our featured columnists are College Baseball 360 co-editor Sean Stires and Omaha native Paul Fiarkoski. Co-editor Pete LaFleur will be contributing during the season as well.

And don’t forget, our SCHEDULES page includes links to every 2012 DI college baseball schedule (as they are released) as well as links to 2012 rosters, 2011 stats, 2012 stats (once the season begins), and conference baseball web sites. Make sure to check it out and bookmark it if you haven’t already!

We hope you enjoy the new format and ask that you bear with us, as we are sure to have a few kinks to iron out as we all get used to things.

In the meantime, have a Happy Holiday season and get ready for January when we begin releasing our conference by conference 2012 previews as we lead-up to college baseball’s Feb. 17 opening day!
