In addition to the Elon-Wake Forest game, there was one other top-50 matchup on Wednesday – as #12 Oregon held off a 9th-inning rally by #37 Gonzaga to beat the Bulldogs for the second straight day, 8-7.

The three returners this week to the CB360 top-50 are #34 Coastal Carolina, #48 Auburn and #50 Elon – with Texas State, Campbell and Washington slipping outside the top-50 in the current CNR update.

The 16 elements that now comprise the formula for the CB360 Composite National Rankings include six national polls, six RPI-type listings (newly added: Warren Nolan predicted pre-NCAAs RPI) and four projections of the 64-team NCAA field.
