After losing to its instate rival a couple weeks ago, Oregon (cb360 #9) held off #21 Oregon State, 3-2, to highlight Tuesday’s action involving top-50 teams in the newly-updated CB360 Composite National Rankings. There were only two upsets among Tuesday’s 18 top-50 games, as Vanderbilt also won by a 3-2 score (vs. visiting #24 Louisville) while Texas Tech won 5-0 at #25 Dallas Baptist.

The six newcomers/returners to the CB360 top-50 are #44 Washington, #45 St. John’s, #46 Tulane, #48 Utah Valley, #49 Long Beach State and #50 Michigan State – with Maryland, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Elon and Auburn slipping outside the top-50 in the current CNR update.
The 16 elements that now comprise the formula for the CB360 Composite National Rankings include six national polls, six RPI-type listings and four projections of the 64-team NCAA field.
